Prime Minister calls for a society of continuous learning and innovation
Prime Minister: "A society of continuous learning and innovation is the ideal environment for the development of our country."
On the evening of November 16, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the 2017 Vietnam Talent Awards Ceremony with the theme “Creative Technology, Smart Connection”, co-organized by Dan Tri Newspaper and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group.
Also attending were Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan; Politburo member, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Vo Van Thuong; former Vice President, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education Nguyen Thi Doan; leaders of ministries, branches, and contestants.

Starting as a competition in the field of information technology and communications, up to now, the Vietnam Talent Award has awarded prizes to products in the fields of science and technology, medicine, environment and self-study.
The Organizing Committee awarded 3 prizes in the field of Self-study to become talented, 1 prize in the field of environment, 2 prizes in the field of medicine and pharmacy, 1 prize in the field of science and technology. Particularly in the field of information technology, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 consolation prizes, 1 prize for community development; 4 third prizes; 2 second prizes; 1 first prize.
The first prize went to the product "Application of 3D virtual reality simulation technology to build the human body to serve teaching, learning and research in the health sciences sector" in the Potential information technology product system of the author group of Duy Tan University.
The product uses 3D virtual reality simulation technology to simulate the human body system, with full organ systems and anatomical details similar to the human body to serve teaching, learning and research in the health sciences sector.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Prime Minister emphasized that the prosperity and decline of the country and the nation are closely linked to attracting, using and promoting the contributions of talented people.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated that this year's Award not only attracted scientists and IT talents of all ages in the country to participate, but also received support and participation from overseas Vietnamese and foreigners who love and are attached to Vietnam. The Award has truly created a movement of continuous learning and creativity for all ages, anytime, anywhere.
The Prime Minister praised the Organizing Committee of this year's award for its orientation and accompanying the Government's direction when proposing the theme: "Creative Technology, Smart Connection", with the aim of moving towards the 4.0 revolution and creative startups.
Emphasizing that the country is facing many development opportunities in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, the Prime Minister said that in this era, creativity must go hand in hand with learning, continuous learning and learning every day. The power of artificial intelligence, the development of biotechnology, the applications of big data and the unlimited capabilities of cloud computing are giving us a unique opportunity to exploit scientific and technological achievements, creating breakthroughs in the country's socio-economic development.
This is also the time when the Prime Minister believes that self-taught talents, young people starting their own businesses, and intellectuals and scientists should join hands to create for the bright future of our entire nation.
“At today's award ceremony, I would like to send a call to Vietnamese talents in all fields: A society of continuous learning and innovation is the ideal environment for the development of our country, an important driving force to promote us to build a creative and action-oriented Government. The determination and actions of the Government will be further strengthened by creative solutions, research topics containing high content of contemporary knowledge and Vietnamese intelligence" - the Prime Minister emphasized.
On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, the Prime Minister sent his warmest greetings to teachers across the country. They are the ones who nurture the future of the country.
Initiated by the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education in 2005 and co-organized by Dan Tri Newspaper and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), the Vietnam Talent Award has now entered its 13th year, becoming a prestigious award of national stature./.
