Prime Minister inspects restoration work of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
On the morning of August 14, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc inspected the periodic restoration work of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum during a working visit to the Mausoleum Management Board on the results of the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of 2019.

Reporting to the Prime Minister, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board said that from June 15 to August 14, the unit has implemented a periodic restoration plan. This is the second year that the restoration has been implemented in the summer (previously in the fall).
According to the Mausoleum Management Board, the annual restoration time at the above time is reasonable and scientific, both fulfilling political and professional tasks and not affecting the organization of State-level ceremonies on the occasion of major holidays, meeting the needs of people visiting the Mausoleum to visit Uncle Ho and visit the Capital during favorable weather conditions of the year.

In the first 6 months of 2019, the Mausoleum Management Board welcomed about 1.2 million visitors, coordinated to serve free drinks and bread to domestic compatriots and international visitors visiting President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of April 30, May 1, and May 19 with more than 42.5 thousand servings.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised the Mausoleum Management Board for completing the assigned items excellently after 2 months of restoration. The architectural works were maintained to ensure quality, in accordance with the regional architecture; security and safety were well maintained; the landscape and environment became increasingly green, clean and beautiful. The Prime Minister noted the special importance and sacred significance of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the task of protecting his body for the entire Party, people and army, especially in 2019, which marks the 50th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament.
The Prime Minister requested the Mausoleum Management Board to be ready to open its doors to welcome and serve people and international visitors to visit Uncle Ho on the morning of August 15.
