Prime Minister leaves for China International Import Expo
At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, on the morning of November 4, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc left Hanoi for Shanghai to attend the first China International Import Expo.

At the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, on the morning of November 4, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc left Hanoi for Shanghai to attend the first China International Import Expo (CIIE 2018) from November 4-5.
Accompanying Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to the first China International Import Fair were Minister and Head of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung; Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh; Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Quang Tung; and Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi.The delegation also included Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Van Hieu; Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam; Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong; Consul General of Vietnam in Shanghai Ninh Thanh Cong and leaders of several provinces and cities.
CIIE 2018 will take place annually and is an important trade promotion event of the Chinese Government with the goal of opening the Chinese market to the world, creating opportunities for countries to access China's large market, contributing to promoting the "Belt and Road" initiative as well as the globalization process.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc's attendance at CIIE 2018 demonstrates Vietnam's interest in the event, and also demonstrates the importance of developing a stable and healthy relationship with China, the desire to work with China to promote sustainable economic and trade cooperation; encourage ministries, branches and localities of the two countries to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation; and support each other in organizing major events of each country./.
