Prime Minister Medvedev: Influencing the US election is impossible
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said in an interview with Israeli television that external influence on the outcome of the US presidential election is impossible.
As a promo for the program, the TV channel released a short clip of the conversation, in which the Prime Minister commented on Western accusations that Russia was trying to help Trump by hacking and collecting sensitive documents on his opponent, Mrs. Clinton.

"As you know, I think that influencing the results of the US elections is impossible. As far as I know, a few days ago, President Putin spoke very correctly about this: 'Is it true that the United States - a normal republic - can so easily exert pressure and dictate: 'Someone will become President there', - Prime Minister Medvedev said.
According to the head of government, the Russian Federation "calmly" addresses these accusations, but considers them a manifestation of double standards. "We say it bluntly: the US government apparatus is very strong, it is actively involved in political processes taking place on all continents, and they feel that for them it is absolutely normal, it is possible. That is, they have more rights, and other countries in this sense should not do anything," - said the Russian Prime Minister.
