During a discussion session in parliament, the moment Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg was engrossed in catching Pokemon on her phone was accidentally caught on camera.

The photographer of the Norwegian daily Klassekampen captured this moment at the parliamentary session on October 4. At that time, the chairwoman of the Liberal Party, Trine Skei Grande, was speaking in the hall.

It’s no secret that Solberg, 55, is a fan of Pokemon Go. During an official business trip to Slovakia in August, she occasionally caught the virtual pet during breaks, and even excitedly bragged about it to reporters.

This is not the first time a Norwegian politician has been caught playing a game during a parliamentary session. In August, Trine Skei Grande also played Pokemon Go during a security meeting, during the game's worldwide craze.

So while some opposition politicians have criticised Ms Solberg's playing games in parliament, Ms Grande has expressed "sympathy" for the prime minister.

"She still listens to what I'm saying. As women, we can do many things at the same time," the Liberal Party chairwoman wrote on Twitter on October 4.
