Russian Prime Minister Advises Ukrainian Presidential Candidates to “Rethink” Gas Cooperation
Cooperation between Russia and Ukraine in the gas sector is very important for Kiev, so candidates for the seat of power in this country should think about the current situation - Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
On Friday, at his residence outside Moscow, the head of the Russian government met with the chairman of the political council of the Opposition Platform - For Life party Viktor Medvedchuk, Ukrainian presidential candidate Yuriy Boyko and the head of Gazprom Alexey Miller.

"This is a very significant confirmation, I think that Mr. Alexey Borisovich (Miller) made a public statement in front of the media," Mr. Medvedev said.
The Russian Prime Minister invited participants to discuss a number of issues.
"I would like to talk about gas cooperation, domestic market prices, and, of course, the current state of trade and economic cooperation between our countries. I pay special attention to the figures you have cited, which should make anyone who is aiming for the presidency in your country think," Medvedev added.
