Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung receives the Mayor of Busan.
According to the VNA special correspondent, on the occasion of his working visit to South Korea and attending the Summit commemorating the 25th anniversary of ASEAN-South Korea dialogue relations, on the morning of December 11, in Busan, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung met with Busan Mayor Suh Byung-soo.

The mayor stated that Busan and Ho Chi Minh City are sister cities, and Busan has approximately 340 businesses investing and operating in Vietnam. Currently, there are about 10,000 Vietnamese people studying, working, and living in Busan.
The Mayor expressed his hope that, building on their tradition of friendship, both sides would effectively promote friendly relations and cooperation in the future, and requested that Vietnam allow Busan Bank to open a branch in Vietnam. The Mayor pledged to do his utmost to create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community to do business, live, and integrate in Busan.
Welcoming Busan Bank's opening of a branch in Vietnam, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung requested the Mayor to promote economic, investment, and trade relations between the two countries. Besides economic cooperation, the Prime Minister also suggested that Busan strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in the fields of education, training, and healthcare.
Thanking the city of Busan for its support to Vietnamese students, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung requested the mayor to continue providing more scholarships for Vietnamese students to study in Busan, as well as creating favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community to do business and live in Busan.
Also this morning, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung met with leaders from Doosan Group, CJ, Teakwang, Lotte, Busan Bank, and other corporations.
During the meetings, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung welcomed Korean businesses in general, and those from Busan in particular, to invest in Vietnam, and pledged to create favorable conditions for Korean businesses to invest successfully in Vietnam.
