This afternoon, the Prime Minister, along with other leaders, will attend the 7th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Cooperation Summit.
This afternoon (June 22), Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, leading the Vietnamese delegation, arrived in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, to begin his participation in the 7th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Cooperation Summit and the 6th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy Summit, which will take place over two days, June 22-23.

Welcoming Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport were Myanmar's Minister of Energy U Zay Yar Aung, representatives of the Myanmar Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese Ambassador to Myanmar Pham Thanh Dung, and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy.
According to the agenda, this afternoon, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, along with the leaders of Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, will attend the 7th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Cooperation Summit. Cooperation among the four countries is an open mechanism, leveraging the existing advantages and potential of each country while also serving as a channel for soliciting support from other ASEAN countries and development partners.
At the 7th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Cooperation Summit, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will join other leaders in reviewing the implementation of Mekong cooperation mechanisms, linked to bilateral cooperation between countries and promoting sustainable development of the entire Mekong sub-region.
The leaders will also assess and refine cooperation mechanisms with partners such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to further strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of these cooperation mechanisms in the process of building, forming, and developing the ASEAN Economic Community, while simultaneously improving the role and position of countries in the global production and supply chain…/.
