Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue attended the inauguration ceremony of Ring Road 3 and the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway.
On the morning of January 9, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the inauguration ceremony of the Ring Road 3 intersection project connecting with the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway with a total investment of more than 400 billion VND.

Attending the ceremony were Politburo member, Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue, leaders of several ministries, branches and Hanoi City.
The project has a total investment of more than 402 billion VND, started on January 6, 2020, is nearly 1.5 km long, and has a road width of 33-51 m.
According to the Project Management Board, the project is 2 months ahead of schedule, ensuring quality, absolute labor safety, traffic safety and environmental sanitation, and also disbursing 100% of the assigned planned capital.

The project is implemented to facilitate vehicles to connect in and out of the intersection conveniently and safely, shorten the journey and synchronize the traffic network in the area, maximize the investment efficiency of Ring Road 3, Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway and Co Linh Road, contribute to reducing traffic congestion and promoting the city's socio-economic development.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Chu Ngoc Anh said that this is one of the key projects of Hanoi. Recently, the city has focused on directing the Project Management Board to coordinate with the People's Committees of Long Bien and Gia Lam districts, departments and branches to soon complete and put the project into operation. After 12 months of construction, despite many difficulties, the construction work has absolutely ensured labor safety, traffic safety, quality and aesthetics.

On this occasion, Hanoi organized the groundbreaking ceremony of Vinh Tuy Bridge project - phase 2. The project has a similar design to phase 1 bridge, including 4 traffic lanes, with a total investment of 2,538 billion VND, using the city budget, built downstream of the Red River.
Regarding the investment scale, the entire cross-section is completed (with one more bridge), the shape is similar to the phase 1 bridge (the phase 2 bridge center is parallel and 21.25m away from the phase 1 bridge center downstream of the Red River).
The bridge is designed with permanent reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete. The starting point of the project intersects with Tran Quang Khai-Nguyen Khoi-Minh Khai Street (Hai Ba Trung District), the end point intersects with Long Bien-Thach Ban Street in Long Bien District. The total length of the bridge and approach road is about 3,504m.
