Prime Minister: The people of the whole country are eagerly awaiting the parade and march.

Accompanying him were General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of National Defense; Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; and other members of the Central Committee of the Party, leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, and other ministries, branches, and localities.

The national commemoration ceremony for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Ho Chi Minh City, will begin at 6:30 AM on April 30th in Ho Chi Minh City.

The parade will take place solemnly at 8:00 AM on April 30th. The parade of the armed forces units will be jointly organized by the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Public Security, while the parade will be handled by Ho Chi Minh City.

The Prime Minister and delegates visited and encouraged the military and militia forces training at Bien Hoa military airport, and also encouraged the police forces training at Training Center No. 2, Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sends his warmest regards and best wishes to the generals, officers, cadres, and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army, the Vietnam People's Public Security, and the militia participating in the parade and march, as well as the forces involved in ensuring and serving the parade, wishing them all the best in fulfilling their assigned tasks.

According to the Prime Minister, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the Reunification of the Country is a national-level commemorative program within the series of major historical and political events of the country in 2025. In particular, the military parade and procession are of special importance, aiming to affirm the significance, scale, and historical value of the great victory of Spring 1975.

Given its significant political and historical importance, the officers and soldiers of the People's Army and People's Police participating in the parade and march during the commemoration ceremony embody the strength and the spirit of decisive victory of the heroic People's Army and People's Police forces.

"In just a few days, we will be carrying out our official duties during the commemoration ceremony on April 30th. Taking majestic and dignified steps on this great national holiday is a great honor, but also a heavy responsibility," the Prime Minister shared with the forces.

Emphasizing that the entire nation is eagerly awaiting the official parade, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that the forces will excellently fulfill their duties, contributing to the overall success of the nation's momentous celebration, demonstrating patriotism, national pride, and gratitude to previous generations, especially those who fought, dedicated, and sacrificed for the cause of protecting and building the Fatherland.

Sharing the experience with the military and militia forces training at Bien Hoa airport,The Prime Minister recalled that a year ago he had witnessed the comrades marching and parading in the 70th anniversary celebration of the Dien Bien Phu Victory - an impressive parade and parade that rekindled the spirit of the Dien Bien Phu Victory of yesteryear.

After listening to reports on the results of training, group rehearsals, and comprehensive parade and march rehearsals, the Prime Minister was moved to learn that the comrades had gone through nearly five months of extremely arduous, persistent, and dedicated training; and had carried out a march along the length of the country from North to South by train with absolute safety ensured.

The comrades have overcome numerous difficulties regarding living conditions; harsh climate and weather; very high training intensity; being away from their families for long periods; and especially for female officers and soldiers, the difficulties are multiplied many times over.

However, the comrades have always clearly defined their responsibilities, demonstrated strong determination, solidarity, and made diligent efforts to successfully fulfill their assigned tasks.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense for their close leadership and guidance in organizing this parade; he also highly appreciated the Parade and Marching Subcommittee for effectively directing the selection and training of the parade and marching forces and for successfully carrying out the support and service work; ensuring good regimes and standards for all participants in performing their duties.

The organization, command, management, and operation were meticulously managed, ensuring smooth, unified, and effective coordination from top to bottom, despite the large number of personnel, weapons, equipment, and vehicles mobilized for the mission.

Communication efforts regarding the event, training activities, joint rehearsals, and combined rehearsals of the marching and parade forces were also effectively directed.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Prime Minister acknowledged, highly appreciated, and warmly commended the sense of responsibility and efforts of the comrades in the past period.

To ensure the parade and march during the commemoration ceremony are carried out successfully, the Prime Minister hopes that the comrades will adhere to the following "five-first" principles: the most thorough preparation; the best spirit; the most beautiful movements; the most effective and close coordination; and the most meticulous logistical support and service.

With the forces of the Ministry of Public Security participating in the parade and march,Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh warmly commended, acknowledged, and highly appreciated the prompt spirit of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security's parade and march subcommittee in seriously and effectively implementing the tasks assigned by the Central Steering Committee on commemorating major national holidays and important historical events over the next three years (2023-2025).

The Prime Minister particularly commended the efforts, dedication, and high determination of the leadership, commanders, management staff, and nearly 4,000 officers, soldiers, and trainees representing the entire People's Public Security force who actively trained with high intensity, with the spirit of "Overcoming the sun and rain, enthusiastically practicing."

In the hot and harsh weather conditions, the male officers and soldiers faced great hardship, and the female soldiers endured even greater difficulties. But with unwavering determination, they "practiced marching, forged willpower, and united as one," leaving behind beautiful and impressive images that demonstrated the discipline and courage of the soldiers, and the strength and maturity of the revolutionary armed forces.

To successfully complete the parade and march, contributing to the overall success of the commemoration ceremony, the Prime Minister requested that each officer and soldier recognize this as a particularly important political task, both a glorious achievement and a duty of the heroic People's Public Security force, "sacrificing themselves for the nation and serving the people." The comrades need to focus intensely with the spirit of "Urgentness; utmost seriousness; and highest determination," united, working together closely, and excellently fulfilling the assigned tasks, demonstrating the strength of the revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern armed forces.

The Ministry of Public Security proactively coordinated closely with the Ministry of National Defense, other ministries and agencies, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, and relevant localities in commanding, directing, and managing the forces participating in the parade and march at the commemoration ceremony, ensuring adherence to the program and script of the State Parade Steering Committee. Simultaneously, they implemented plans to ensure absolute security and safety for all activities at the commemoration ceremony.

The Ministry of Public Security continues to do a good job in political and ideological work, taking care of the cultural and spiritual life and policies for officers and soldiers participating in parades and marches, as well as staff and support officers; promptly encouraging and rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing their assigned tasks.
