Prime Minister tells U23 team to 'stay calm, be confident, and play your best'
On the evening of January 26, one day before the final match of the U23 Asian Cup between Vietnam and Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a letter to the entire U23 Vietnam team and coach Park Hang Seo.

I send to Coach Park and the entire U23 Football Team my warm feelings, the heat, the heroic atmosphere of the vibrant sea of flags and the belief in victory from our homeland towards our beloved Team.
Their resilience, bravery, creativity in every pass and progress in every match have brought us to the final of the AFC U23 Championship. These victories have aroused the strong love for the country and national pride of all Vietnamese people.
Tomorrow, the U23 Vietnam team will enter a new match, the final match, a historic milestone for the country's football. This is a very difficult challenge, but I want to tell you that more than 90 million Vietnamese people are behind you, cheering and following your every step and every move.
Under the majestic flag with the flying yellow star, be calm, confident, and compete with all your might for the colors of our beloved Vietnam!
