Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over the welcoming ceremony for the Russian Prime Minister at the Presidential Palace.
On the afternoon of January 14, at the Presidential Palace, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a solemn welcoming ceremony for Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin, leading a high-ranking delegation from the Russian Federation, on an official visit to Vietnam.
When the motorcade taking the Russian Prime Minister arrived at the Presidential Palace, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh came to the car door to welcome him.
After the warm handshakes between the two Prime Ministers, Hanoi children presented flowers and welcomed the Russian Prime Minister. When the two Prime Ministers stepped onto the podium, under the national flags of the two countries, the national anthems of the two countries were solemnly played.



Afterwards, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh invited Prime Minister Mishustin to review the honor guard of the Vietnam People's Army.
Immediately after the welcoming ceremony, the two Prime Ministers held talks and witnessed the signing of cooperation documents between the two countries' ministries and sectors. During the visit, Russian Prime Minister Mishustin will meet with General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.






Cooperation in food and agricultural products is growing, with an estimated total supply value to the market in 2024 exceeding 1 billion USD... The number of Russian regions "twinning" and cooperating with Vietnamese localities is increasing. Education is a traditional area of cooperation, with Russia granting 1,000 scholarships to Vietnamese students every year.
Before the welcoming ceremony, the Russian Prime Minister and his delegation laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument on Bac Son Street.
