On the morning of April 20, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with the Central Youth Union, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and relevant ministries and branches, solemnly opened the 7th National Student Startup Day (SV-STARTUP) in 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Kim Son - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training; Nguyen Van Duoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; representatives of central ministries and branches, and more than 4,000 students, investors and domestic startup experts.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the Festival is a vivid demonstration of the determination to nurture aspirations.start upof the young generation, and at the same time commend the efforts of the education sector, ministries, branches and localities in implementing support for students to innovate and create.

The Prime Minister emphasized that arousing the spirit of self-reliance, daring to think, daring to do and being ready to face challenges will contribute to building a country that develops quickly and sustainably on the foundation of science and technology.

Held annually since 2018, the National Startup Day for students aims to promote the entrepreneurial spirit, create an environment to realize feasible business ideas, and strengthen the connection between schools and students with the business community and investors.

This year, the event took place with a series of large-scale activities: Conference to summarize Project 1665 "Supporting students to start a business until 2025"; Forum "Startup inspiration from technology entrepreneurs"; seminars on startups in universities, vocational education and general education; investment connection - incubation program; space for technology experience and creative product display.

The highlight of the festival was the Final Round of the “Students with Startup Ideas” Competition, where 125 outstanding projects were selected from 775 entries. The finalist project teams presented their ideas at an exhibition area of ​​over 140 booths, attracting special attention from investors and experts.

Nghe An delegation participated with 8 projects - 6 projects from students and 2 projects from high school students - focusing on smart agriculture, OCOP products, spending management, digital tourism and converting waste into energy, showing the strong potential for innovation of Nghe An youth.

The 7th National Student Startup Festival continues to affirm its reputation as a large playground, creating momentum to spread the startup movement in schools, nurturing creative ideas that contribute positively to the socio-economic development of the country.
