Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrives in Seoul, beginning official visit to South Korea
At 2:30 p.m. (local time) on June 30, the plane carrying Prime Minister Pham Minh and his wife Le Thi Bich Tran, along with the Vietnamese delegation, arrived at Seongnam military airport in Seoul, beginning an official visit to Korea.

Welcoming the Prime Minister and his wife at the airport, on the Korean side were Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups Oh Young Joo; Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Choi Yong Sam; Director of the Protocol Department, Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs Seo Won Sam; Director of the ASEAN Department, Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kim Dong Bae; Commander of Seongnam Military Airport. On the Vietnamese side were Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Vu Ho; officials, staff of the Embassy and the Vietnamese community in Korea.



The Director of the Protocol Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and the Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea boarded the plane to welcome the Prime Minister and his wife. The Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups of the Republic of Korea welcomed the Prime Minister and his wife at the foot of the plane's stairs.
The official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife and the Vietnamese delegation was solemnly held at Seongnam military airport.


As Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stepped onto the podium, the military band played the Vietnamese national anthem solemnly. Then, the leader of the Korean Honor Guard saluted and invited the Prime Minister to inspect the Honor Guard, including representatives of the Korean military forces. The Prime Minister walked on the red carpet to greet Korean officials, staff of the Embassy, and the Vietnamese community in Korea in a warm welcome.

During his visit from June 30 to July 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is expected to hold talks and meetings with senior Korean leaders; attend and speak at the Business Forum, the Tourism Promotion and Cultural Cooperation Forum, the Vietnam-Korea Labor Forum; hold talks with leaders of Korean economic organizations and talk with Korean intellectuals and scientists on semiconductors and artificial intelligence.






Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also had meetings with representatives of leaders of several leading economic groups in Korea; visited the Embassy and met with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Korea; visited a Vietnamese-Korean multicultural family; delivered a policy speech at Seoul National University; and visited Samsung's semiconductor factory.
Through that, the visit aims to continue implementing the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress; concretizing the Action Program to implement the Vietnam-Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
