The Prime Minister launched a peak emulation campaign to achieve results in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress.

The launching ceremony was connected online to 34 provinces and centrally-run cities. At the event, in the proud and sacred atmosphere of our country joyfully celebrating major holidays and the spirit of organizing party congresses at all levels, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, announced the launch of an emulation campaign to achieve achievements in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress; speed up and make a breakthrough to complete the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

The Prime Minister pointed out that over the past 77 years, since President Ho Chi Minh issued the Call for Patriotic Emulation (June 11, 1948), the spirit of emulation and patriotism has become a source of vitality, strongly arousing patriotism, the will to be self-reliant and self-reliant of our entire Party, people and army. Emulation movements through historical periods have become a great endogenous strength of the nation, helping the country overcome countless difficulties and achieve great and glorious victories. Each emulation movement is associated with a miracle of the nation through the periods.

Currently, all levels, sectors and localities are making every effort to successfully implement the goals and targets of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Recently, under the leadership of the Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary To Lam, we have resolutely implemented historic policies, creating momentum, strength, position and confidence to bring the country into a new era, an era of striving to develop into a rich, strong, civilized, prosperous, happy country, steadily moving towards socialism.

The Prime Minister stated that, once again, the spirit of "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation" continues to be strongly promoted. With the participation of the entire political system, the consensus and agreement of the majority of people and the business community, we have successfully implemented the revolution of "rearranging the country", operating the 2-level local government, making timely decisions to "turn the situation around, change the state", maintaining political stability and achieving very positive and comprehensive results in socio-economic development. There have been miracles created from recently launched emulation movements such as: The special emulation movement "The whole country unites, joins hands, and unanimously emulates to prevent, fight and defeat the COVID-19 pandemic"; the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses finished 5 years and 4 months early; completing the 500kV line 3, Quang Trach - Pho Noi in a record short time; 500 days and nights to complete 3,000km of highway... These miracles create motivation, inspiration, and spread confidence for our entire nation to compete in labor, production, business, and improve the material and spiritual life of people nationwide.

The 14th National Party Congress is a particularly important political event, a major event of the country, deciding the country's development direction and goals in the new era. This peak emulation period is the connecting melody for us to accelerate, break through, and strive to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, with the spirit of: "High determination, drastic action and practical effectiveness".

The Prime Minister emphasized the high determination to turn this emulation movement into a vibrant and widespread political activity so that "all people as one" can unanimously agree and successfully implement strategic goals; take drastic actions to turn political determination into concrete and quantifiable products, turn assigned goals, targets and tasks into practical results; practical effectiveness is the final destination of the emulation movement - that is the victorious results, the sweet fruits that all people can enjoy, the prosperous, civilized and prosperous development of the country, the material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved. Every action, every movement must ensure "3 no's": No formality, carelessness; no "talk without action"; no action without effectiveness.

Speaking at the program, comrade Ha Thi Nga - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front stated that patriotic emulation is an important driving force to promote creative activities, arouse the strength of great national unity, the will to be self-reliant and self-reliant to overcome difficulties and challenges, and seize opportunities to continuously develop the country.

Responding to the Prime Minister's launch, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front pledges to closely coordinate with the Government, central ministries, branches, and organizations, and provinces and cities nationwide to effectively implement the key tasks directed by the Prime Minister.

Along with that, widely organize patriotic emulation movements, campaigns to reach the masses of people, ethnic groups, religions, overseas Vietnamese, promote the spirit of creative emulation, mobilize all social resources to create strength, contribute to the successful implementation of economic and social development goals, ensure national defense and security, build a clean and strong political system.
