Prime Minister issues decision on non-stop road service fee collection
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 17, 2020, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 19/2020/QD-TTg regulating the collection of road use service fees in the form of non-stop electronic tolls.

Accordingly, toll stations that have installed non-stop electronic toll collection systems must immediately operate non-stop electronic toll collection.
For road service toll stations in operation that have not installed a non-stop electronic toll collection system, by December 31, 2020 at the latest, they must switch to non-stop electronic toll collection.
As for toll stations managed by the Vietnam Expressway Corporation, the completion progress will be considered and decided by the Ministry of Transport and the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises in accordance with the project's capital conditions.
Also according to the Decision, for toll stations for road use services under new construction investment projects, road use service fees will only be collected when implementing non-stop electronic toll collection according to the provisions of this Decision.
