Prime Minister pays official visit to Russia and Belarus
At the invitation of Prime Minister of the Russian Federation D. Medvedev and Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus M. Myasnikovich, on the morning of May 12, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung led a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to leave Hanoi for an official visit to the Russian Federation from May 12-15 and an official visit to the Republic of Belarus from May 15-17.

The delegation included Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Vu Duc Dam; Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang; Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang; Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son; and Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan.
Deputy Ministers of the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Foreign Affairs, Culture, Sports and Tourism; Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee Huynh Minh Chac; Secretary of Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Chi Dung; Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Pham Xuan Son; Vietnamese Ambassador to Belarus Do Van Mai; Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vu Tien Loc; Director of Hanoi National University Phung Xuan Nha and Assistant to the Prime Minister also joined the delegation.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung's visit to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus this time aims to affirm the importance and desire to continuously develop the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership, and consolidate and develop the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Belarus./.
