Prime Minister: Vietnam is ready for the US-North Korea Summit
On the morning of February 25, in Hanoi, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc inspected the implementation of instructions on preparations for the US-North Korea Summit after working sessions on February 24.

The Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam is ready and will ensure absolute safety for this important event.
Inspecting the International Press Center, where 3,000 journalists are working and reporting on the Conference, the Prime Minister requested that the press reception must be thoughtful for each reporter and editor, demonstrating Vietnam's hospitality.
Around the International Media Center area, the Prime Minister requested to decorate more billboards and posters promoting the unique culture of Hanoi and Vietnam. This is the third time the Prime Minister has inspected the International Media Center in the past 2 days.

Next, the Prime Minister inspected some main streets around Hoan Kiem Lake and checked the decoration in the Hoan Kiem Lake area and Ly Thai To flower garden. The Prime Minister requested Hanoi City to decorate with more fresh flowers and ornamental plants along the streets and the Hoan Kiem Lake area; increase the number of posters about the Conference in English on main streets, especially around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Opera House area.
The Prime Minister also requested Hanoi City to closely direct the work of ensuring a clean and beautiful environment, creating a beautiful image of the capital.
On February 24, working with a number of relevant ministries and agencies, the Prime Minister emphasized that this is the most significant political and foreign affairs event of Vietnam in 2019, while also posing challenges in organizing work. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare the best and most thoughtful conditions for the two US and North Korean leaders and the delegations of the two countries to come to Hanoi, because of the responsibility for world peace and the image of hospitality, friendliness and friendship of the host country, which is the culture and lifestyle of the Vietnamese people.
