The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Education and Training to complete the toilet problem during the summer.
On the afternoon of July 2, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha reported on a number of outstanding issues of the industry.
Regarding the issue of toilets in schools, Minister Phung Xuan Nha said that the Ministry has worked with localities, but the toilet facilities have degraded a lot (the rate of degraded toilets for primary schools is 43%, high schools is 13%).

Regarding this issue, after the speech of Minister Phung Xuan Nha, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc requested the Minister to take responsibility for this matter and to complete it this summer, and not to let the state of degraded toilets continue for decades.
“This is a small matter but it has great significance for generations of students. Therefore, localities and ministries such as the Ministry of Health must thoroughly handle this issue,” said the Prime Minister.
Regarding other educational contents, Minister Phung Xuan Nha also sent his thanks to the Government, localities, and teachers nationwide for participating in organizing the 2018 National High School Exam safely, seriously, objectively, and successfully.
Regarding the flood incident, the Ministry has closely coordinated with the Northwestern provinces to grasp the situation. For the 13 students who could not attend the exam site due to the flood, the Ministry has agreed in principle to allow these students to graduate with special permission.
Preparing for the implementation of the new textbook program, Minister Phung Xuan Nha said that in July, a training program for teachers will be accepted and developed in a rolling manner to be implemented starting from the 2019 school year.
