The declaration was due to losing football betting, so he was in a difficult situation. He remembered that recently there were many cases of people reporting lost money in their accounts, so he plotted to blame the bank.
On September 2, Phan Thanh Bien (23 years old, residing in Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi) went to a transaction office of a bank in Hanoi to report that his account had been hacked and money had been transferred multiple times with a total amount of 200 million VND.
After verification, bank staff found that there were indeed many money transfer orders totaling 200 million VND, but they were made via Bien's phone. Seeing that the customer's report was false, the bank reported it to the Hanoi City Police.

Working with the police, after some twists and turns, Bien admitted that he was "acting". He said he was working as a worker in an industrial park in Me Linh district. On the evening of September 1, Bien placed a large bet, resulting in a huge loss, forcing him to pawn his SH motorbike and transfer money twice via credit card to the bookmaker on the Internet.
Bien remembers that recently there have been many cases of people reporting sudden loss of money in their accounts, so they plotted to blame the bank.
Currently, the 200 million VND account that Bien transferred to the bookie in Ho Chi Minh City has been frozen.
