Losing to Sevilla, Arsenal still won the Emirates Cup
The Gunners won the pre-season tournament despite losing 1-2 in the final match against their Spanish opponents.
Goal: Lacazette 62' -Correa 49',N'Zonzi 69'
Sevilla won both games but could not win the Emirates Cup because the tournament is based on goals scored. Each goal counts as an extra point. Arsenal beat Benfica 5-2, so they have nine points in total for six goals and a win.
Sevilla have two wins but have only scored three goals. In their previous game they beat RB Leipzig 1-0. The Spanish side have nine points from two wins and three goals but are behind Arsenal in goals.
There were plenty of chances created by both teams but only three goals were scored in the match at the Emirates Stadium. Joaquin Correa opened the scoring for Sevilla early in the second half after a combination with Ben Yedder.

New signing Alexandre Lacazette equalized for Arsenal with a close-range tap-in from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's cross. This was Lacazette's first goal for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium since his £50m move from Lyon.
Steven N'Zonzi's wicked left-footed shot gave Sevilla the win. However, Arsenal still lifted the Cup.
Lacazette was forced off 10 minutes after scoring with a foot injury, but Arsene Wenger has revealed the French striker's problem is nothing to worry about.
Arsenal will face Chelsea in the Community Shield on 6 August at Wembley. Five days later, they kick off the 2017-18 Premier League season at home to Leicester.
