Implementing Directive No. 05, the Provincial Police have issued a plan, organized dissemination, signed emulation agreements for implementation between units, with the slogan "Nghe An Police compete to follow Uncle Ho's teachings; solidarity, creativity, democracy, strengthening the grassroots, serving the people" with the goal that Nghe An Police must be "the leading unit in the People's Police movement to study and implement Uncle Ho's 6 teachings".

Deeply imbued with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police have focused on solidarity, unified leadership, and directed the police of units and localities to step up the fight against crime, associated with emulation to effectively implement Directive No. 05 of the Ministry of Public Security. Thanks to that, the political security situation in the province has always been maintained, preventing terrorist and sabotage activities from occurring.

Nghe An police have continuously launched many fierce and effective attacks on all types of criminals. The rate of investigating crimes related to social order reached 82.5%, arresting thousands of criminals, economic criminals, dangerous drug users, and confiscating many weapons and assets...

The administrative reform work has always been focused and directed by the Provincial Police Party Committee. In the past 5 years, Nghe An Police has always been the leading unit of the Ministry of Public Security, and for 2 years (2016, 2017) it was ranked first among 103 focal points of the Ministry of Public Security.

The Provincial Police regularly organizes activities to show gratitude, such as giving gifts, building gratitude houses, taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, helping people overcome natural disasters, harvesting crops, etc., thereby mobilizing more than 12 billion VND to support funds launched by the Central and local governments.

After 5 years of implementing the Minister's directive associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, many typical advanced individuals of the provincial police officers and soldiers have emerged, overcoming all difficulties, hardships and sacrifices to excellently complete assigned tasks.

Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee commended the outstanding achievements of Nghe An Police in recent times.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that Nghe An Police must always take Uncle Ho's 6 teachings as a guideline for all combat activities and force building; proactively research, innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of the movement to study and implement Uncle Ho's 6 teachings to a new level in a more profound and comprehensive way.

On this occasion, Vinh City Police was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Ministry of Public Security; the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Police also awarded individuals and groups that are typical examples of progress over 5 years of implementing Directive No. 05/CT-BCA.
