Implementing new rural standards in a substantive manner

(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the discussion contents of discussion group No. 5 including provincial People's Council delegates in the constituencies of Do Luong, Nam Dan and Anh Son districts on the afternoon of July 8.

Mr. Truong Hong Phuc - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Do Luong District chaired the discussion session. Also participating were representatives of a number of departments, branches and sectors such as: Provincial Inspectorate, Department of Industry and Trade, Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Political School, etc.

At the discussion session, many delegates gave opinions that were close to the actual situation, reflecting the current life of the people of the province, focusing on the following groups of issues:

Delegate Nguyen Chi Nham (Nghe An Province Inspectorate) had questions and requested that the superiors clarify the issue of IT staff receiving separate allowances, clarifying the characteristics of IT staff and why they receive allowances. That was also the question of Delegate Le Van Tri (Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front of Anh Son District, delegate of Anh Son District).

Delegate Nguyen Chi Nham (Nghe An Province Inspectorate) had questions and requested superiors to clarify the issue of information technology officers receiving separate allowances.

Delegate Nguyen Ngoc Nguyen - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front, delegate of Nam Dan district mentioned the issue of implementing new rural construction in the province.

At the discussion session, delegate Nguyen Ngoc Nguyen - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front, delegate of Nam Dan district said that the implementation of new rural construction in the province is being implemented synchronously and effectively. However, it is also necessary to supervise the implementation, avoid achievement disease, all new rural standards must be based on substance. Agreeing with the above opinion, delegate Thai Van Nong - Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment also said that it is necessary to raise people's awareness, try to meet new rural standards but not follow the form, ensure practical effectiveness.

Delegate Thai Thanh Quy (Secretary of the Nam Dan District Party Committee, delegate of Nam Dan District) said that in the past, there have been many forest fires in the province, causing considerable damage, especially flammable trees that have high economic value. Therefore, the province needs to strengthen measures to prevent forest fires. At the discussion session, delegate Le Van Tri (Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front of Anh Son District, delegate of Anh Son District) also proposed that the province have plans to strengthen drought response and support farmers, especially those in mountainous areas.

Delegate Nguyen Van Huy - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee said that close coordination is needed to properly resolve petition issues.

Delegate Nguyen Van Huy - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee proposed that agencies, departments, and organizations need to closely coordinate to properly resolve people's petitions. The lack of uniformity in the resolution leads to shifting responsibility, causing people's problems to not be satisfactorily resolved.

Speaking at the discussion, delegate Le Van Tri (Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front of Anh Son district, delegate of Anh Son district) also pointed out that many voters who have contributed to the revolution are very interested in the support regime of their superiors. The Provincial People's Committee's commendation of 80,000 subjects who have contributed to the revolution still faces many financial difficulties, so delegate Le Van Tri suggested that the payment should be made gradually, in batches for different subjects.
