Rented a funeral car, hid drugs in an ossuary
Scattering votive papers along the road, Tien created a fake transfer of remains from Dien Bien to Hue to hide 14,000 ecstasy pills.
On February 13, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police announced that they had initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and arrested Quàng Văn Tiến (23 years old) and Quàng Thị In (52 years old, both residing in Dien Bien province) for the crime ofIllegal drug trafficking; Luong Van Thanh (18 years old, Dien Bien province) for the crimeIllegal drug trafficking.

Previously, at around 2 p.m. on February 2, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police mobilized many forces to arrest Quang Van Tien and Luong Van Thanh on Le Loi Street. Police discovered that on the funeral vehicle, Tien and Thanh hid 70 packages of drugs and 14,000 pink pills in ceramic urns used to hold remains.
At the investigation agency, Tien said that his mother provided the drugs for 175 million VND. Then, Tien asked Thanh to transport them to Hue for sale. To deceive the authorities, they rented a funeral car and continuously scattered votive papers along the way.
Thua Thien Hue police coordinated with Dien Bien provincial police to arrest Quang Thi In, Tien's mother, and extradite her to Hue.
