It is known that the injured man was a welder hired by the owner of a bus cafe in Linh Dam urban area to cut a barrel to decorate the shop. While the worker was cutting, the barrel suddenly exploded, seriously injuring the man.
The leader of Fire Prevention Team No. 8 in Hoang Mai area said that the above barrel explosions could be due to the fact that the barrel still contained gasoline vapor, and when the welder cut the barrel, he did not open the lid, causing the gas to compress and explode.
