US Senator reveals Ukrainian President Zelensky 'asked for new weapons'
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky discussed with US Senator Robert Portman the supply of new weapons to Ukraine. Mr. Portman spoke about this in the US Congress in his report on his visit to Ukraine.
“Mr. Zelensky spoke frankly about the courage of the Ukrainian army, but also about their need for weapons systems. We talked about Russian propaganda along the eastern border and about Russia’s attempts to suppress Ukrainian television broadcasting to sow the seeds of discord among the residents of Donbass,” Portman said.
