A bonus of 10 million VND was awarded to My Ly Border Guard Station.

(Baonghean.vn) - On June 5th, Colonel Dinh Ngoc Van, Commander of the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, signed a decision to award a Certificate of Commendation and a cash prize of 10,000,000 VND to officers and soldiers of My Ly Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard, for their outstanding achievements in dismantling a drug trafficking and transportation ring into the area.

Earlier, at 6 PM on June 3rd, in the Huoi Cang 1 village area, Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district, the My Ly Border Guard Post discovered and arrested two individuals, Va Chong Lau, born in 1966, and Lau Y Xia, born in 1968, both residing in Nhot Kho village, Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, for transporting and trading drugs.

At the scene, investigators seized evidence consisting of half a block of heroin weighing 170 grams. The suspects confessed to purchasing the drugs in Muong Xen town and transporting them to the area to resell in smaller quantities to drug addicts for profit.
