The Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee praised the achievements of Thanh Chuong District Police in suppressing all types of crimes, maintaining peace for the people, and contributing to the socio-economic development in the area.
Previously, as reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on March 13, Thanh Chuong District Police coordinated with Anti-Drug Task Force No. 2 - Vietnam Coast Guard Command, Do Luong District Police and Nghe An Province Road and Railway Traffic Police Department to raid the VENUS karaoke bar in Block 8, Do Luong Town (Do Luong).

At karaoke room 303, the authorities caught Vo Thi Cam (born in 1964, residing in block 8, Do Luong town) in the act of possessing nearly 2 kg of crystal meth. Upon urgently searching the subject's house, the authorities seized nearly 100 grams of crystal meth.
This is one of the largest drug cases ever busted by Thanh Chuong District Police. The case is currently under further investigation.
