Reward given for outstanding performance in the case of six K54 pistols stolen.

The Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police and the Business Association presented awards to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in investigating and solving the case of theft of military weapons at Thanh Phong prison.

Accordingly, to recognize the outstanding achievements of the units in the fight against crime, on the afternoon of April 30th, the Director of the Provincial Police awarded four collectives: the Criminal Investigation Department for Social Order Crimes, Provincial Police; Thanh Hoa City Police, Sam Son Town Police, and Nong Cong District Police, for their outstanding achievements in investigating and solving theft cases, with a total amount of 55 million VND.

Mr. Le Van De, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Business Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hop Luc Joint Stock Company, awarded the special task force 40 million VND; the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa City awarded the special task force and the Thanh Hoa City Police 10 million VND.

Under the direction of the Director, the head of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Thanh Hoa Provincial Police) and the leaders of General Department VIII (Ministry of Public Security), after only 3 days of investigation and pursuit, at 4 PM on April 29th, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police investigated, clarified, and urgently arrested 3 suspects: Cao Hoang Long, Do Thanh Lam, and Le Van Long, who were the perpetrators of the theft of military weapons at Thanh Phong Prison in the early morning of April 26th.

This is considered the largest military weapons theft case in Thanh Hoa province to date. However, within a short period, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Investigation Department solved the case and recovered all the military weapons that the suspects had stolen.
