The responding units are the leaders of the Departments of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Health. In addition, leaders of related units such as the Department of Industry and Trade and District People's Committees will also participate in answering related issues. The explanation session is expected to be held in May 2024.
According to the leader of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation - Provincial People's Council, the proposal to select this content comes from the current situation that there are industrial parks, industrial clusters and craft villages that do not pay attention to occupational safety and hygiene for workers.
During work, many workers are not equipped or are not fully equipped with labor safety equipment.
At the same time, with the strong development of industrial parks and industrial clusters in the province as present, organizing this content explanation session contributes to promoting solutions to serve the sustainable development of these types as well as contributing to protecting the legitimate rights of workers.

Compliance with laws on occupational safety and hygiene in industrial parks, industrial clusters and craft villages is currently a problem.
A typical example is Chau Tien Limited Liability Company, headquartered in Nam Cam Industrial Park, Nghi Long Commune (Nghi Loc). In 2017, the company officially went into production with a production line of stone powder and silica stone products. On average, there are 20-25 employees working daily at the company.
From 2017 to present, the company has recruited a total of 137 workers. After a number of workers who had worked here died and were diagnosed with silicosis by the Central Lung Hospital, the Nghe An Health Department organized examinations and detected occupational diseases for 101 workers who had worked at Chau Tien Limited Liability Company.
Through the examination results, occupational diseases were detected, 62 workers who have been working here have occupational silicosis, of which: 5 people died related to silicosis, 1 case of death with unknown cause, 19 workers have severe silicosis, 25 people have moderate disease, 13 people have lung damage that needs monitoring and 20 cases of the third examination have not yet had results.
In May 2023, the People's Committee of Nghe An province established an inspection team at this company. The results showed that the company had committed a series of violations. The Provincial People's Committee then fined the company more than 100 million VND. In addition, the Nghe An Provincial Police also collected documents and clarified the case.
