The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee directs the handling of illegal deforestation.

After reviewing Report No. 191/BC-UBND dated July 9, 2015, from the People's Committee of Que Phong District regarding the handling of illegal logging in Hanh Dich Commune, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has the following comments:
- The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department monitors and advises relevant departments in the internal affairs sector to strictly handle those who illegally cut down forests in the core area of valuable forest land on the Vietnam-Laos border in Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district.
- The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department directs Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, and other media agencies operating in the province to strengthen information and propaganda work to deter and prevent such activities.
