Create consensus

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission presented a report on the first quarter performance results of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province.

Accordingly, in the first quarter, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province actively coordinated to promptly organize movements and activities at the grassroots level. The initiative was clearly demonstrated through the work of preventing and fighting the Covid 19 epidemic; organizing social security programs, taking care of people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet safely and economically.

Activities to support people to focus on spring production, prevent cold for crops and livestock, and open tourism in the new normal state have been implemented synchronously, contributing to promoting socio-economic development goals.

Highlights of the first quarter:

Fatherland Front Committee:successfully organized the Program "Tet For The Poor - Year of the Tiger 2022", the whole province received 126 billion VND in cash and gifts (the Fatherland Front at all levels coordinated to give Tet gifts to 188,171 households).

FestivalFarmer:Established 1,321 agricultural teams to help support member families and farmers quarantined due to the Covid-19 pandemic; supported members and disadvantaged people with a total of 4,135 gifts worth 1,972.1 million VND.

Labor Federation:organized a series of activities "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Binh An" to give gifts to 1,400 workers and laborers with a total amount of 700 million VND and 20 billion VND.

Provincial Veterans Association: Visiting and giving gifts to poor members, policy beneficiaries, and meritorious people worth nearly 1.3 billion VND. Supporting 3,145 families of war veteran members affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, with an amount of 838 million VND.

Provincial Women's Union:Supported 1,386 million VND and organized visits to policy families and poor households; planted 9,694 trees of all kinds.

Provincial Youth Union: tGiving away more than 26,200 gifts worth more than 7 billion VND; building more than200grassroots youth projects with a total value of nearly1.2billion dong

The active participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations has created consensus in society, helping people to agree, trust and comply well with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; actively work in production, participate in patriotic emulation movements; and prevent and fight the epidemic.

In particular, in the face of recent collective strikes by workers at companies related to income payment regimes and other regimes for workers, people agree with the timely handling and resolution of problems by the Party Committee, government, departments, branches and relevant organizations and unions, and satisfactory answers to workers.

Affirming the role of the Front and socio-political organizations

Concluding the conference, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that in the first quarter, the whole province faced many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the Fatherland Front and social organizations have made efforts to promote their roles to accompany the Party Committee, the government and departments and branches in implementing the set socio-economic development goals.

In the second quarter, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee agreed with the five key tasks proposed by the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the conference. At the same time, he noted some important contents such as: Paying attention to propaganda work, mobilizing all classes of people in implementing the goals and tasks of socio-economic development of the province, especially related to the issue of site clearance.

Because in the coming time, the province will implement many programs and plans that require large-scale site clearance to meet the needs of infrastructure construction and investment attraction. That reality requires high unity in perception and action for the implementation process to be carried out effectively.

In the field of literature and art, we need to pay more attention to the Ho Xuan Huong Award. We suggest that the Propaganda Department and the Mass Mobilization Department should conduct the process of receiving, evaluating, and awarding the entries closely and accurately. From there, we can create encouragement for writers and artists to promote their creative spirit in their works.

Faced with the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, he requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province and provincial-level socio-political organizations to continue to flexibly deploy activities in accordance with the functions and tasks of the organization.

Before national, local and industry holidays and anniversaries, it is necessary to deploy appropriate response programs; mobilize people to actively produce and do business, promote care for crops and livestock, prevent diseases, especially the Covid-19 epidemic, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements; promote democracy, build the Party and build the government.

Continue to propagate and effectively implement resolutions, projects, directives and conclusions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, especially Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU, dated November 19, 2021 on "Strengthening the Party's leadership to improve the quality and effectiveness of the activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, 2021 - 2025 period and the following years".
