The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee will meet and dialogue with more than 1,100 commune-level leaders expected in July 2023.

More than 1,100 DELEGATES ATTENDED

The program is expected to be held on July 21 and 22, 2023 in Vinh City, with about 1,121 delegates attending, with the aim of enhancing the leadership role of the Party Committee in building and consolidating the political system at the grassroots level, creating a combined strength in building great national unity.

The program also aims to unify viewpoints, goals, and actions throughout the political system; raise awareness, political capacity, and sense of responsibility for key officials at the grassroots level; and contribute to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

According to the draft plan by the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee - the standing agency organizing the program - the delegates will hold a flower offering ceremony in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City.

The organizing committee will hold 3 discussion and exchange forums on the afternoon of July 21. In particular, the Forum on Party building work will be chaired by Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. The Forum on economic, cultural, social, defense and security development will be chaired by Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The Forum on understanding the thoughts, aspirations and situation of the people will be chaired by Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The main meeting and dialogue program will take place on the morning of July 22 at the Provincial Labor Culture House, chaired by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

At the meeting, members of the Organizing Committee exchanged and contributed ideas to complete the draft Plan, assigning tasks to implement the Program of meetings and dialogues between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and heads of Party committees and authorities of communes, wards and towns in the province in 2023.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department suggested that it is necessary to prepare carefully to organize well the 3 discussion and exchange forums, especially to increase exchanges at the forums to be able to receive more information from the grassroots; at the same time, prepare the contents to best implement the main conference taking place on the morning of July 22.

Comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation also suggested that it is necessary to more specifically orient the content of the 3 discussion and exchange forums.

There were also many discussions about content preparation, logistics plans, information and propaganda activities for the meeting and dialogue program, etc. The leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee also discussed, clarified and accepted many related contents.

BUILD A SPECIFIC PLAN AND ROADMAP TO PREPARE A THOROUGH PROGRAM

Concluding the meeting, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the meeting and dialogue program, assessed that the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee proactively and responsibly advised on the draft plan and assigned tasks to members; thereby highly agreeing with the purpose and main content of the draft plan.

In particular, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that organizing 3 discussion forums and exchanges in the direction of dialogue at the program will create conditions to delve into each issue. However, after the forum, the standing agency needs to have a summary report on the content of the 3 forums to send to all delegates.

Along with that, he requested careful preparation for the contents of the official meeting and dialogue program held on the morning of July 22, such as: Thoroughly grasping the content of the book: "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; reportage shown at the conference; speeches by heads of Party committees and chairmen of People's Committees at the commune level...

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee agreed to choose the general theme of the meeting and dialogue program as: "Solidarity, democracy, creativity, development"; at the same time, pay attention to well preparing logistics, urban planning, security and order, traffic and propaganda work before, during and after the meeting. The Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee needs to develop a specific roadmap and plan for the Committee members to carry out their assigned tasks, ensuring careful preparation for the program.
