On the morning of July 1, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security visited and offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Nam Dan, Nghe An.

At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Nam Dan, Nghe An, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang and the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to express their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.


President Ho Chi Minh has passed away, but his image will always live on with the mountains and rivers of Vietnam, with the Vietnam People's Public Security, his thoughts will always guide the Vietnamese revolution from one victory to another.
In this sacred moment, the delegation vowed to forever study and follow his noble ideology, morality and style.


Next, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang visited and offered flowers and incense at Chung Son Temple - the ancestral temple of President Ho Chi Minh.


On the same morning, the working delegation of the Minister of Public Security visited Truong Bon National Historical Site, My Son Commune, Do Luong District (Nghe An) to offer flowers and incense to express their respect and infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives at the Truong Bon "fire coordinates".
The section of National Highway 15A passing through Truong Bon, My Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province is only about 5 km long, but from June to October 1968, it suffered nearly 2,700 bombs of all kinds from the US imperialists.

From 1964 to 1968, the enemy dropped nearly 19,000 bombs of all kinds and tens of thousands of missiles on this heroic land, destroying 211 villages along the route, killing many people in My Son and Nhan Son communes (Do Luong district); destroying hundreds of cars and hundreds of artillery pieces of our army.


Thousands of cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, transport workers, and militiamen were injured; 1,240 cadres and soldiers fought bravely and sacrificed heroically. On October 31, 1968, at around 6:10 a.m., enemy planes frantically rained bombs on Truong Bon.
That devastating bombing took the lives of 13 youth volunteers, right before the US empire was forced to stop bombing the North at 0:00 on November 1, 1968.

The great sacrifice of the heroic martyrs contributed their red blood and devoted their youth to the victories of the army and people of Nghe An in the victory of the nation, bringing peace to the country.

In a sacred and emotional atmosphere, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An province respectfully bowed and lit incense to express their respect and infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
