Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office.
On the morning of June 3, the Party Central Office held a ceremony to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided to transfer and assign Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, member of the Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, to hold the position of Chief of the Central Party Office to replace Mr. Le Minh Hung.
Previously, the Politburo assigned Mr. Le Minh Hung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, to hold the position of Head of the Central Organizing Committee.
Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong congratulated Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc on being trusted by the Party, State and people with new tasks.
This is not only the joy of Mr. Ngoc personally, his family and hometown, but also the joy of the entire People's Public Security force; it is the recognition of the Politburo for the contributions of Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
According to the Standing Secretariat, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc is a capable cadre, with basic training and practical training from the grassroots. No matter what task he is assigned, he always strives to complete the assigned task excellently; and is recognized by the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, and international friends with many noble medals.
Emphasizing that the Party Central Office is an agency with a particularly important position, advising the Central Executive Committee, directly the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat noted that the upcoming tasks for Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc and the Central Office are very heavy.
The Standing Secretariat requested the new Chief of the Party Central Office to quickly grasp the situation and closely follow the working program of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat.
At the same time, ensure the progress and quality of the assigned tasks; together with the leadership of the Central Office, promote the responsibility, capacity and enthusiasm of all civil servants and public employees, handle tasks well, grasp the area, remove difficulties and obstacles, especially problems with potential complex factors to promptly resolve.
In his acceptance speech, the new Chief of the Party Central Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc pledged to continue to strive, train, cultivate, maintain the spirit of solidarity, and make efforts to contribute with the Central Office to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc was born in 1964; hometown is Luong Bang town, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province; professional qualification: Master of Law.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc has held the following positions: Chief of Thanh Tri District Police, Head of the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department (PC27) of Hanoi City Police, Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency (PC44), Deputy Director and Head of the Investigation Agency of Hanoi City Police; Deputy Director General of the General Department of Police, Director of the Department of Investigation Police for Crimes of Corruption, Economy, and Smuggling (Ministry of Public Security).
He was appointed as Deputy Minister of Public Security from August 15, 2019 to present and was promoted to the rank of Senior Lieutenant General from December 2023.
