Receiving the delegation were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of a number of departments of the Provincial Party Committee and relevant departments and branches.

Wishing the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee a Happy New Year, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Trong Viet wished good health to the comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Board, the Provincial People's Committee and the staff of the two agencies of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Nghe An province. He acknowledged Nghe An's outstanding achievements in uniting people in border provinces; at the same time, he wished the province to always maintain the tradition of solidarity, socio-economic development, and have many successes in the new year.
