The National Assembly Standing Committee discussed the introduction of candidates for the XV term.

This is one of the important contents discussed at the 53rd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, taking place from February 22-23, at the National Assembly House.

Specifically, on the afternoon of February 22, after National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan delivered the opening speech of the meeting, the Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee presented a report on the first adjustment of the structure, composition, and number of people of central and local agencies, organizations, and units nominated as candidates for the 15th National Assembly, followed by the National Assembly Standing Committee discussing and voting to approve this content.

The National Assembly Standing Committee will consider the draft Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 887-NQ/UBTVQH12 on promulgating the Regulation on science management in National Assembly agencies, agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly Office.

At this meeting, the Minister of Home Affairs will present a report to the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments on the regulation of the number of full-time delegates of the Hanoi People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

According to the program, tomorrow (February 23), the National Assembly Standing Committee will give its opinion on the Government's report on the 2016-2021 term. The National Assembly Standing Committee will give its opinion in writing on the reports summarizing the 14th term work of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Preparations for the 11th session - the final session of the 14th tenure - will also be discussed at the 53rd session.
