The National Assembly Standing Committee listened to the report on the vote of confidence.

According to the National Assembly Office, the 18th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) will take place from May 14 to 16, 2013 with important contents in preparation for the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly.

It is expected that at this session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will give opinions on the Government's supplementary report assessing the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2012; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2013. At the same time, it will give opinions on the plan to allocate sources of increased revenue and savings in the state budget in 2012.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly will hear a report on the preparation for the vote of confidence and vote of confidence for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly at the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly; give opinions on the Draft Amendment to the 1992 Constitution and on the preparation for the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly.

Regarding law-making, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will give opinions on the draft Law on Bidding (amended) and the draft Law on amending and supplementing Article 170 of the Law on Enterprises.

The project to renovate the National Assembly Office to improve the quality and efficiency of its operations and the Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 417/2003/NQ-UBTVQH11 dated October 1, 2003 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the National Assembly Office are also expected to be approved in this session./.
