The Standing Committee of the National Assembly hears reports on the vote of confidence.

According to the National Assembly Office, the 18th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place from May 14 to 16, 2013, with important agenda items in preparation for the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly.

At this session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly is expected to give its opinion on the Government's supplementary report assessing the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2012; and the situation of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2013. At the same time, it will give its opinion on the plan for allocating increased revenue and savings from state budget expenditures in 2012.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly will hear reports on the preparations for the confidence vote and no-confidence vote for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly at the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly; and will give opinions on the draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution and on the preparations for the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly.

Regarding legislative work, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will give its opinion on the draft Law on Bidding (amended) and the draft Law amending and supplementing Article 170 of the Enterprise Law.

The plan to reform the National Assembly Office to improve the quality and efficiency of its operations, and the Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 417/2003/NQ-UBTVQH11 dated October 1, 2003, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the National Assembly Office, are also expected to be approved at this session.
