In particular, due to many roads being flooded, blocked, and affected by landslides, the transportation sector has directed units and localities to ensure absolute safety for people and vehicles, and proactively reroute traffic at flooded locations where passage is impossible. Specifically, on Route 534 in Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district, heavy rain caused a landslide that completely covered the road surface, measuring 20m long, 6m wide, and with an average height of 6m; the estimated volume is about 700m3. The Department of Transportation has directed the managing unit to coordinate with local authorities to organize traffic diversion, diverting traffic from one point at Huoi Tu intersection and another point at My Ly commune intersection in Ky Son district to Muong Long commune.

In some areas of Nghia Dan district, Nghia Binh, Nghia Thinh, and Nghia Hung communes; Quynh Thang commune in Quynh Luu district; and Nghia Xuan commune in Quy Hop district, water levels range from 32cm to 120cm. Currently, the managing unit is directing coordination with local authorities and the Transport Inspectorate to organize guards and barricades at both ends to ensure traffic safety.
