It has directed localities and irrigation companies to actively drain water according to the motto "draining the tide to drain water". In addition, it is necessary to speed up the construction progress of key projects such as the main canal of the Nam Dan 2 sluice system, Khe Quanh reservoir in Nghi Loc district, and continue to review flood and storm prevention plans for each project.

In particular, due to many flooded, blocked and landslide-prone roads, the transport sector has directed units and localities to ensure absolute safety for people and vehicles, and proactively divert traffic at flooded and impassable locations. Specifically, on route 534 in Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district, heavy rains caused a landslide on the positive slope, covering the entire road surface, 20m long, 6m wide and 6m high on average; the estimated volume is about 700m3. The Department of Transport has directed the management unit to coordinate with local authorities to divert traffic, one point at Huoi Tu intersection and one point at My Ly commune intersection, Ky Son district, following the road to Muong Long commune.
Some overflows in the town, Nghia Binh commune, Nghia Thinh commune, Nghia Hung commune, Nghia Dan district; Quynh Thang commune, Quynh Luu district; Nghia Xuan commune, Quy Hop district are flooded from 32cm to 120cm... Currently, the management unit is directing to coordinate with local authorities and the Traffic Inspectorate to organize guards, barricades at both ends, and ensure traffic safety.
