The head of the Russian Missile and Artillery Forces, Lieutenant General Mikhail Matveevsky, said that the potential of this force is expected to increase 1.5 - 2 times in the next 5 years.

According to Lieutenant General Mikhail Matveevsky: "In the composition of the Russian missile and artillery forces, three types of special modern weapons are expected: missiles, rocket artillery and artillery, with combat capabilities 1.5 - 2 times higher."
General Matveevsky also noted that measures are currently being taken to improve the quality of structures and combat elements of the Russian Missile Forces and Artillery.
