The 33-year-old striker scored four goals in 21 minutes
Former Brazil international Fred achieved what many players dream of when he helped Atletico Mineiro beat Sport Boys 5-2.
The series of goals took place in the match in Group 6 of the Copa Libertadores on the afternoon of April 14. Fred scored four consecutive goals from the 72nd minute to the third minute of injury time, thereby helping Mineiro come from behind to win against Sport Boys (Bolivia).
Fred's finishing touch was different for each of his goals. The No. 9 forward touched the ball to deflect his teammate's shot for his first goal, then leaned in to tap, head and lob the ball for his next three.

The win over Sport Boys was also Mineiro's first win in Group 6. After two matches, the Brazilian team is leading with four points and a better goal difference than second-placed Godoy Cruz (Argentina).
Fred will turn 34 in October. The veteran wearing the number 9 shirt has a record of 335 goals in 567 matches at club level.
Fred also played for Brazil for nine consecutive years, scoring 18 goals in 39 matches. After the failure at the 2014 World Cup, the 1983-born star retired from the international arena.
