Striker Ho Tuan Tai says goodbye to Ho Chi Minh City Club
Because he is no longer in coach Phung Thanh Phuong's plan, the striker born in 1995 had to pack his bags and leave Thong Nhat Stadium right before the new season.
Accordingly, Ho Tuan Tai's next destination is the National First Division team Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc with a 3-year contract. It can be said that this is a step back in the career of the former striker of Song Lam Nghe An and U22 Vietnam.
Famous from the 2012 National U17 Tournament with the title of top scorer, Ho Tuan Tai is considered the "successor" of his cousin Pham Van Quyen. At the age of 20, the striker from Hung Nguyen was promoted by coach Ngo Quang Truong to play in the first team of Song Lam Nghe An.
During 6 seasons of dedication to his hometown team (2015 - 2020), Ho Tuan Tai played 87 matches and scored 22 goals (only in the V.League arena). Not a very impressive achievement.
At the end of the 2020 season, Ho Tuan Tai said goodbye to Vinh Stadium to join Ho Chi Minh City Club. Despite his best efforts, Ho Tuan Tai could not show much because he was often tormented by various injuries.
After 4 seasons playing for Ho Chi Minh City Club (2021 - 2023/2024), Ho Tuan Tai only scored 4 goals after a total of 40 appearances. Therefore, coach Phung Thanh Phuong removed Ho Tuan Tai from his plan.
Joining Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc, Ho Tuan Tai will work with coach Nguyen Anh Duc, former number 1 striker of the Vietnam national team under coach Park Hang-seo. Hopefully, Ho Tuan Tai will regain his inherent ability./.
