Young striker of Song Lam Nghe An is happy to play for the first time in V.League 2023

Song Lam Nghe An Club opened the second phase with a 2-0 victory over Ho Chi Minh City Club. In this match, the Nghe An team continued to show their fiery fighting spirit. All positions showed high performance, especially the young players who left many impressions, including young striker Ngo Van Luong.

Sharing with the media about his first appearance in V-League 2023, striker Ngo Van Luong said: ''First appearance in V-League 2023so I was a bit nervous and excited, but I was also very proud to be in the starting lineup. I tried my best in every training session so that the coaching staff would recognize and give me a chance.''

The match against Ho Chi Minh City Club was Ngo Van Luong's first match, however, the young player born in 2001 played very confidently. Talking about this, Van Luong said: ''The seniors in the team have taught me a lot and also encouraged me, I am a young player, if I get to play on the field, I have to play with all my heart and play football confidently''.

Talking about his experience when playing his first match in the number 1 tournament in Vietnam, the young player from Nam Dan shared: ''Between V-League and matches in youth tournaments are very different, V-League is the number 1 tournament in Vietnam, a very harsh tournament, when entering the field you have to pass the ball faster, move a lot, be stronger and play more fiercely''.

Regarding his goals for the future, striker Ngo Van Luong said: ''If I am given the opportunity in the match against Khanh Hoa, I will play my best and try to score the first goal in V-League 2023''. In addition, striker Ngo Van Luong also hopes that the audience and fans will come to the stadium to accompany and cheer for the team.
