(Baonghean.vn) - After ending his contract with Seoul E-Land Club to return to Vietnam to play, striker Van Toan shared some very emotional thoughts about his old team.
Striker Nguyen Van Toan officially ended his contract with Seoul E-Land Club (Korea) and returned to Vietnam to play.
This morning (September 16), Van Toan shared his thoughts on his time playing in Korea. "I will soon say goodbye to the team and return to Vietnam to play. I am really sad and feel guilty for leaving while the team is playing, unable to accompany everyone until the end of the season. I hope everyone will understand me."
Striker Van Toan also thanked those who helped him in Korea: ''I feel grateful to everyone who has helped me during the past time. Thank you to the head coach, the coaching staff and my teammates. Those who have helped me a lot during my time here''.

Unable to play with his teammates at Seoul E-Land Club for the rest of the season, Van Toan was very regretful: ''I feel sorry to have to say goodbye early, but I have to accept and think about the future. The time at Seoul E-Land Club has many memories for me. The first time I was there, I felt welcomed by everyone. The first matches were very difficult, but the whole team had their first victory, the team celebrated together and also enjoyed the joy of victory together. Those are beautiful memories in my football career. I hope Seoul E-Land Club will be a place for players to come and achieve more titles in the future, and I hope the club will be more successful. I would also like to thank all the fans who have supported me so much''.

Talking about the difficulties when he first arrived in Korea, Van Toan said: "When I first arrived, I was also scared, not knowing how people would welcome me, and whether I would do anything for the club or not. However, I received a warm welcome from everyone, and I feel that Seoul E-Land Club is very familiar to me. Thank you everyone for your support during the past time. Every time I go out on the field and everyone calls my name, it is a happiness, and I will keep that memory forever. Thank you everyone."
Previously, on the evening of September 15, a representative of Nam Dinh Club confirmed that the contract with Van Toan was being finalized. The two sides did not disclose information about the signing fee or salary, but the striker born in 1996 certainly has the best treatment.
In Korea, Van Toan has not played a single minute since June. In the Seoul E-land Club shirt, since the beginning of the season, Van Toan has only played 9 matches (total 388 minutes), 4 of which were starts, scoring no goals, and having no assists.
Coming to Nam Dinh, Van Toan becomes the partner of Rafaelson Fernandes - Top scorer of V.League 2023. With the reinforcements from many quality players, Nam Dinh is determined to compete for a high position next season.
By playing regularly at the Club, Van Toan can maintain his form to always be ready to join the Vietnam national team under coach Philippe Troussier.
