If an employee goes to work on National Day, the total salary received is 400% of the normal day's salary.

According to the provisions of the 2012 Labor Code, regarding wages, according to Point d Clause 1 Article 115, employees are entitled to take leave and receive full pay on September 2.

If an employee goes to work on September 2, the salary will be at least 300%, not including holiday wages and paid leave for employees receiving daily wages (Total salary received is 400% of normal day's salary).

According to Point c, Clause 1, Article 97 of the 2012 Labor Code, in case an employee works overtime at night on September 2, he/she will receive an additional 90% of the normal day's salary (Total salary received is 490% of the normal day's salary).

Note, the above salary is the minimum salary that employers pay to employees. Employers are encouraged to pay higher salaries than the level prescribed by law.

Regarding bonuses, according to Clause 1, Article 103 of the 2012 Labor Code, employers base on annual production and business results and the level of work completion of employees to decide on bonuses for employees. The bonus for employees on the occasion of National Day, September 2 is not mandatory and is decided by the employer.
