The young doctor Duy Cuong was once famous for being a student who overcame difficulties. His father lost the ability to work and had to use a wheelchair due to a traffic accident when Cuong was in first grade. His older brother had to drop out of school to work and help his mother pay for his education.
In grade 12, Cuong had an accident during recess, had to wear a cast and use crutches right at the time of his graduation and university exams, but he still passed the entrance exam to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Cuong was an excellent student and won the third prize in the school's scientific research competition. After graduating with an excellent degree, Cuong was retained at the school as a lecturer and successfully defended his Doctoral Thesis in Philosophy in 2017.
While studying and teaching, and participating in the "Bolero Idol" contest, the young doctor had to work hard to fulfill both his work and his passion on stage.
“It was really hard for Cuong, but as he shared with everyone, he had to try hard to balance his teaching job at school and go to Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the competition. In that situation, Cuong was lucky to receive great support from the school's Board of Directors and his family. Although he was very busy, Cuong's mother always arranged to go to Ho Chi Minh City to encourage him in every round of the competition" - Duy Cuong shared.
Hopefully, the young doctor from Nghe An will continue to bring the audience of "Bolero Idol 2018" many sublime emotions./.
