Midfielder Ngo Hoang Thinh confidently competes with Hung Dung and Huy Hung
(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of November 2, the Vietnam National Team witnessed the players of Hanoi and Quang Nam Clubs gather. Before the training session, midfielder Ngo Hoang Thinh shared with the press.
In the last training session, midfielder Ngo Hoang Thinh was called up by coach Park Hang-seo but unfortunately, the player of Ho Chi Minh City Club had to leave the team early due to an eye injury. This time, Hoang Thinh is very eager to play.
The midfielder born in 1992 said: “At the club or national team level, there is competition for every position. Currently, I am very eager to compete and ready to make efforts with my teammates. After missing an appointment once, I am very determined in this training session. Coach Chung Hae-seong told me to try my best for the team, to make twice as much effort as when I was at Ho Chi Minh City Club.”

At the moment, the Vietnam National Team has many quality and stable central midfielders such as Hung Dung, Tuan Anh, Duc Huy, Huy Hung... That will be a big challenge for a rookie like Hoang Thinh. However, the midfielder from Nghe An is still confident of competing fairly.
Sharing about personal competitiveness, Hoang Thinh said: “The central midfielders of the Vietnam national team all have their own outstanding characteristics. With the advantages, we will try to promote them. As for the disadvantages, Coach Park Hang-seo will show us how to overcome them to stay in the team.”
“The first time I worked with Coach Park, I saw that Coach Park always cared deeply and meticulously about the players. I didn’t think I would be called up to join the U22 Vietnam team. My goal is to try my best to be registered for the two upcoming matches,” Hoang Thinh shared.

On November 14 and 19, the Vietnam national team will face two teams, the UAE and Thailand. Hoang Thinh also pointed out the most dangerous player on the Thai side: "The Thai national team has many good players, I like to face Chanathip the most and want to win against them with the Vietnam national team."
During the past week, while the players of Hanoi and Quang Nam clubs were busy competing in the National Cup, coach Park Hang-seo and his team only practiced physical recovery exercises after a stressful V.League season.
This afternoon (November 2), players from the two aforementioned teams such as Quang Hai, Duc Huy, Hung Dung, Thanh Chung, Duy Manh, Minh Tuan... joined the Vietnam National Team. However, these players only practiced separately with Dr. Choi.
Before the match against UAE on November 14, Coach Park Hnag-seo will finalize the list of 27 players down to 23. As for Van Hau and Cong Phuong, they will not be able to join the Vietnam team until November 11.
