Just a newcomer to the V.League at the beginning of this season, Quang Vinh has quickly asserted his talent and won the trust of the Nghe An team's coaching staff. After a few days of being promoted to play for the Song Lam Nghe An first team, coach Phan Nhu Thuat gave Quang Vinh the opportunity to come on as a substitute in the first round of the V.League 2023/2024 against Viettel.
During the following period, this midfielder always consciously learned from his seniors and controlled himself in daily life. This was the plus point that helped the midfielder born in 2005 score points in the eyes of the coaching staff of Nghe An Club.
From a supporting role, when he was only allowed to enter the field at the end of the second half, Quang Vinh has strived to become the main character in important confrontations of Song Lam Nghe An.

A place to nurture young talent
Like many other teammates, before becoming an athlete at the Nghe An Youth Football Training Center, Quang Vinh participated in the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children Football Tournament.
In the 2017 season, this player joined the Nghi Loc Children's Football Team. That year, Nghi Loc did not have an excellent squad, but Quang Vinh's brilliance helped the team reach the semi-finals. However, in the match against Do Luong Children's Football Team, Nghi Loc Children's Football Team had to accept the end of the game. This opponent later won the championship at the 2017 Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children's Football Tournament.
“During my childhood, the Nghe An Newspaper Cup was the biggest stage I ever participated in. Until now, I still remember clearly my feelings when I stepped onto the field for the semi-final match. It was a very exciting atmosphere, the sound of trumpets, drums and cheers from the audience, that gave us more excitement and determination to show our full potential” - Quang Vinh recalled.
Although the Nghi Loc Children's Football Team could not reach the final match of the season, with his talent, Quang Vinh caught the attention of scouts at the Song Lam Nghe An youth football training center.
Quang Vinh shared: “Nghe An Newspaper Cup was the first gateway to bring me to professional football. Therefore, I always remember and cherish the moments I spent at the biggest football tournament for children in my province that year. I hope that the young players participating in this year's tournament will play with innocence and try their best in every move.
