Overseas Vietnamese midfielder Viktor Le expressed his pride at being called up to the Vietnam U22 team, and affirmed his determination to contribute to prove himself.
On the morning of March 10, in Hanoi, midfielder Viktor Le joined the Vietnam U22 team, this is the preparation process for the key tasks in the 2025 U23 Asian qualifiers (taking place in September) and the 33rd SEA Games taking place next December.
In this gathering, there is the Vietnamese-Russian midfielder - Viktor Le. ViktorLe was born in 2003; in the past, he played for the CSKA Moscow II club. He joined Binh Dinh from the beginning of the 2023 season.

Viktor Le was registered by the team of the land of Vo as a Vietnamese player who does not have Vietnamese nationality. He then joined Hong Linh Ha Tinh before the second leg of V.League 2023/24 until now.
Sharing with the media on the military gathering day, Viktor Le expressed his desire to contribute to Vietnamese football, he said:“When coming to Vietnam Nam 2-3 years ago, I cherished the desire to wear the national team jersey. So, when my name is on the list of U22 Vietnam this time, I feel very honored and proud. Certainly, I will try my best, concentrate, maintain daily training. I will accumulate and take advantage of every opportunity I have on the team.

The Russian-Vietnamese midfielder has a modern playing style, good technique and can play flexibly in midfield. However, he does not overestimate himself and uses his performance on the field as a measure of his ability.
''I can't say clearly what my strengths or weaknesses are. What I show on the field is how I prove myself. People can also judge from that. When I join U22 Vietnam, I will definitely compete at all costs. This is a healthy, fair and positive environment. I am very happy to join U22 Vietnam but of course I will try my best.''
Despite his injury problems, Viktor confirmed that he will quickly return to training with the team: "Currently, I am still injured. But I will recover soon and return to training as soon as possible."
Regarding his ability to speak Vietnamese, the player who is playing for Hong Linh Ha Tinh shared: “Currently, I can speak a little Vietnamese. I have to try to improve more. Since coming to Vietnam, I have tried to learn. Now I can listen quite well but I can't speak much. I will learn more and hope that in the future, my Vietnamese will be better."

Finally, Viktor shared about the support from his experienced senior, Luong Xuan Truong. He said: “Mr. Luong Xuan Truong at Ha Tinh team also helped me a lot. Every time we had a chance to talk, he gave me advice and counsel. Before joining U22 Vietnam, I also received advice, help and guidance from him.”
After training in Hanoi, the U22 Vietnam team will go to China to participate in the CFA Team 2025 International Friendly Football Tournament. At the tournament, U22 Vietnam will meet U22 Korea (March 21), U22 Uzbekistan (March 23) and U22 China (March 25).
