Received 27 people who were tricked into going to Cambodia with the trick of "easy work, high salary"
On the afternoon of September 29, the Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard said that they had just coordinated with the Immigration Management Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police and Tan Lap Commune Police to receive 27 Vietnamese citizens (including 9 women) handed over by the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia and functional forces at Xa Mat international border gate (Tan Lap commune, Tay Ninh province).
After receiving the suspects, the authorities identified 14 cases of illegal exit to Cambodia; 2 cases with criminal records but had their criminal records cleared; and one wanted person, Pham Chau Dung (born 2004, residing in Vinh Hoi ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

Through initial investigation, 25 people confessed to finding jobs through social networks, they voluntarily left the country legally or illegally to Cambodia to work in online gambling areas. Specifically, 20 cases worked in the Osamach area, one person at BoiBet, one person in the Hai Con Voi area, and 3 cases whose workplaces were unknown. The main job was to operate a “love app”, creating fake romantic relationships to lure players into participating in stocks or online gambling, in order to appropriate money. The remaining two citizens were arrested and deported by Cambodian forces for illegally residing in Siem Reap province.
Currently, the authorities of Tay Ninh province are continuing to coordinate the investigation and handling in accordance with legal regulations.
